Patty Zavala began her journey in the nightlife and hospitality industry at Ciel Restaurant and Lounge, where she discovered her passion for creating experiences that blend upscale dining, energy, and entertainment. Coming into a brand-new industry, she quickly fell in love with the dinner-party concept — the perfect balance of elegance and excitement. Patty became known for her ability to coordinate shows, parades, and unforgettable guest experiences that kept people coming back week after week. Through her success at Ciel, she built a strong network of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clientele, establishing herself as a trusted face in Houston’s luxury nightlife scene.
Eager to continue growing, Patty accepted the challenge of helping open Sophie Cocktail & Terrace Bar, Ciel’s sister concept. There, she became a leader and mentor, training her team on client retention, service standards and customer experience.
From there, Patty partnered with Giovanni Romo to take on their next venture — Santè. At Santè, she became a voice for women in the industry, focusing on education, team development, and confidence-building. Patty trained her staff not just to serve drinks, but to create energy, build relationships, and curate vibes that guests could feel. Her collaboration with Giovanni and the Santè ownership team helped take Houston nightlife to an entirely new level of consistency, quality, and excitement.
Now, as part of Techno Transit, Patty brings her signature leadership, client experience, and hospitality expertise to a completely new stage. When Giovanni shared the vision for Techno Transit, she immediately saw its potential — a concept so bold, unique, and needed that it could only come from years of passion and teamwork. Together, they’re bringing a reimagined nightlife experience to Texas — one built on vibes, creativity, and connection — setting out to prove that Houston is ready for something extraordinary.

Giovanni Romo is one of Houston’s most dynamic figures in hospitality, nightlife, and bar concept development. Recognized for his signature long hair, high-energy presence, and creative leadership, Giovanni has been instrumental in shaping several of the city’s most successful and culture-defining venues.
His journey began behind the bar at Clarkwood, one of Houston’s most prestigious lounges. It was there that Giovanni discovered his true purpose in nightlife — creating high-energy, fun environments anchored in great drinks, connection, and exceptional customer service. Clarkwood molded him into the personality guests came to love — the long-haired bartender with electric energy — and helped shape the foundation of who he is today.
Giovanni later became part of the upbringing of Ciel Restaurant and Lounge, where he helped introduce Houston to the modern dinner-party concept that merged upscale dining with nightlife culture. Recognizing his creativity and leadership, Ciel then entrusted him to open Sophie Cocktail & Terrace Bar, where he built the cocktail program from the ground up and launched the concept as Bar Manager.
From there, Giovanni helped launch Santè as Operations Manager, bringing in his A-team of trusted staff and implementing the systems and structure that shaped the venue’s signature energy and consistency. Backed by his network of high-profile clientele and deep understanding of bar culture, Giovanni helped position Santè as one of Houston’s most recognizable nightlife destinations.
Now, Giovanni is channeling all of his experience, creativity, and passion into his next evolution — Techno Transit. This concept represents a full-circle moment: a fusion of everything he’s learned in hospitality with his lifelong love for music. Techno Transit is an intimate, high-energy platform that brings together the melodic nostalgia of 2010 house — Swedish House Mafia, Avicii, David Guetta — with the harder, underground energy of German techno, while also featuring fresh, modern house sounds from rising artists like Fisher, Hugel, and John Summit.
But Techno Transit is more than a party — it’s a curated experience and show for all of Texas to enjoy. Giovanni is building a traveling atmosphere of sound, light, and connection — touring Dallas, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio to deliver unforgettable vibes and cross-city energy. The concept allows him to cater to VIP clientele seeking late-night, exclusive experiences that go past 2 a.m., while also welcoming the general nightlife community — guests looking for something exciting to do Wednesday through Sunday, or those craving spontaneous trips to the lakes of Austin or the beaches of Galveston, where the vibe continues there and back.
